Travelling to France

I recently came back from a school trip to France. Not only did I improve my French significantly, since it was my first time visiting a French-speaking country, but I also learned a lot about French culture and got to see many famous French landmarks. My favorite place to visit was the Eiffel tower because the view was magnificent and I got to learn a lot about the iconic tower, like how when it was built it was the tallest tower in the world when it was built, doubling the height of the previous record-holder, the Washington monument.

Another great part about the France trip was that I got to know people and make friends with people I hadn’t really spent much time with at school before. My roommate was really nice and I enjoyed getting to know him.

The France trip was both a great learning experience about French culture and French language, and also a really fun experience full of great memories I hope I won’t forget.
